For matters billed on an hourly basis, we discuss professional fees and any court costs associated with your file at the very first meeting. A clear fee agreement is established, specifying the nature of the mandate and the applicable hourly rate. We ensure transparent invoicing and provide you with a detailed monthly update on the progress of your file. Payment arrangements can also be made depending on your situation.
We also offer flat-fee arrangements that include taxes but exclude court costs. For contested matters, we invite you to contact the firm directly in order to obtain a personalized estimate.
We accept certain legal aid mandates depending on the nature and complexity of the file. After the consultation, you are responsible for verifying your eligibility with the legal aid office in your region and providing the required documents. If legal aid is refused or not obtained, the services rendered will be billed at the standard hourly rate of the lawyer consulted.
